Here are some basic guidelines which will help you to fully enjoy the 2016/17 ABA League Basketball Fantasy Challenge.
If you still haven't created your 2016/17 ABA League Basketball Fantasy Team then - Hurry up! The new season starts on Thursday, so you have two more days to choose your 10 players and join the game.
Before the competition officially begins, these are some basic things you should know about the ABA League Basketball Fantasy.
DURATION
ABA League Basketball Fantasy will start on 29 September and will last until the final date of the ABA League Regular Season.
COMPETITION SYSTEM
Each registered user may create ten (10) teams only. Each team will have an initial budget of 350 credits and will be able to put together a team with ten (10) players. A team with less than ten (10) players in its roster once the weekly round begins will not be a valid team. Such teams will receive no score for that week.
Important notice: You will be able to make changes in your team up to 15 minutes before the 1st game of that round.
Each team will be allowed to substitute three (3) players per week. The substitution period begins immediately after the deadline for the previous round and will expire on 15 minutes before the start of the next round's first game.
Important notice: For example, when the deadline for choosing your team for the 1st round expires (on 15 minutes before the start of the 1st game of the 1st round) you will immediately be able to make substitutions for the 2nd round. Therefore, you will have enough time to make changes in your team, despite a tight schedule at the beginning of the new ABA League season.
SCORES
Each official ABA League player will get his own ABA League Basketball Fantasy score for each and every ABA League game in which he plays one second or more. His score will be the equivalent of his official ABA League statistical valuation (index rating) in that game, plus a 10% bonus when his ABA League team wins. The bonus will not be applied if a player receives an index rating of zero (0) or lower. Players who do not appear in a game will receive a ABA League Basketball Fantasy score of zero (0) for that week.
Important notice: Among the 10 players in the ABA League Basketball Fantasy team, a captain can be selected. His number of points will be calculated the same way as for all of the other players in the team, with one major addition - His +/- rating, obtained during each game will be added to his overall score. (Example - If your captain finishes the match with 10 index points and his +/- rating is 10, his overall Fantasy score will be 20 + bonus if his teams wins).
PRIZES
The winner of each 2016/17 ABA League Fantasy round will receive the official 2016/17 ABA League Spalding Basketball and two tickets for the next match of his favorite club.
